Access & Appointments

What services are available via PCN hubs

 

Appointments are available through our Enhanced Access service.

Please note that not all services are available every week at every practice.

The following appointment types may be offered:

  • GP appointments
  • Practice Nurse appointments
  • Healthcare Assistant (HCA) appointments
  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner appointments
  • Clinical Pharmacist appointments
  • First Contact Physiotherapist appointments
  • Dementia Nurse appointments
  • Social Prescribing Link Worker appointments

Availability may vary depending on the practice and week. Please contact your practice reception for current availability and booking information.

Enhanced Access Appointments

The GP Enhanced Access Hours Service is designed to provide patients with appointments outside core general practice hours for routine care and is available:

How to book Enhanced Access appointments

You can book an appointment in the following ways:

  • By telephone: Please contact your own GP practice reception
  • Online: Via your GP practice’s online services
  • NHS App: You can book appointments at your own practice using the NHS App

Please note:

  • Appointments booked through the NHS App are only available at your registered GP practice
  • Friday and Saturday appointments must be booked by telephone through your GP practice

If You Need Medical Help Now

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111 

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. if you need help for a child under 5 call NHS 111.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
